Our Story

Anderson Building Corp. was founded in 2006 by Evan Anderson, a South Florida native - raised in Tequesta, and apprenticed by the most talented local architects and builders in South Florida. Evan began his career in 1997 with Smith and Moore Architects in West Palm Beach after his first year attending the top ranked School of Architecture at Miami University, Oxford, OH. Evan quickly excelled as a project manager, drafting and designing homes on Palm Beach Island and helping to restore historic landmarks. After 10 years working in the architecture field, Evan decided he wanted to hold more control over the construction process and became licensed as a State Certified General Contractor in 2006. Perfecting his craft in the field, Evan worked for Davis General Contracting on the Historic Kravis Estate on Palm Beach, as well as the amazing Wrigley Estate in Lost Tree Village which recently sold for $97.5M. After his invaluable experience working with Davis, Evan took on the COO role with Onshore Construction and Development in Jupiter in 2014. When Evan started with Onshore, gross sales were roughly $17M per year and the company lost approximately $325k per year in warranty issues and "call-backs". With Evan's background and architectural knowledge, warranty losses were reduced to around $30k the following year and project quality rose to a new high. Over the 10 plus years Evan worked with Onshore Construction, he became 1/3 owner of the company and brought its reputation from mixed to being one of the finest builders in Palm Beach County, taking annual sales to over $120M and managing close to 60 employees. Prior to his sale of Onshore Construction, Evan completed dozens of homes ranging in construction cost from $3M to over $30M.

In contrast with the higher volume business model at Onshore Construction, Evan is now able to maintain all of his team's focus on no more than 5 projects at any given time. This management-rich approach guarantees clients the best value and quality for their investment. Anderson Building Corp. renovates and builds new homes ranging from $3M to $40M and beyond. Our honest, transparent business model ensures that every project will have its own dedicated field team and an office-based project manager running no more than 2 projects at any given time. This is of paramount importance when renovating and constructing the finest homes. As a client, you deserve nothing less!
